Marcus's love of dancing started at a Komsomol disco in 1987 on a visit to the (then) Soviet Union. Since then he has studied Salsa, Tango, LindyHop, West Coast Swing, Jive, Cha Cha, Zouk, and Kizomba. But Bachata is his passion.
Marcus has studied Bachata under various internationally renowned teachers since 2018 - and has been teaching since 2021. In addition to Latin Vibes he has also taught at Bristol Bachata and at Bath University Salsa Society.
Jayne has been teaching with Latin Vibes since 2024. She brings a blend of international training, musicality, and razor-sharp technique to Latin Vibes. She is a musician and singer as well as a dancer, Jayne teaches with rhythm in her bones and a natural sense of flow that lifts every class. Her warm, down-to-earth energy makes students feel instantly at ease, while her technical focus ensures everyone leaves dancing better than they arrived.
Whether she’s polishing your basics or unlocking new styling and connection skills, Jayne knows exactly how to break down complex movement so beginners feel comfortable and improvers keep levelling up. She brings passion, expertise, and a genuinely joyful presence to the dance floor.
Yuliya is the Founder of Bachata Social Hub in Bristol and Bachata Academy in South Wales and now Bristol.
From her first steps in salsa in 2004 to falling in love with bachata in 2019, Yuliya's passion for dance and music is palpable. She has trained with many of the best bachata artists in the UK and internationally recognised instructors worldwide, teaching in Bristol herself for the past two years and guest-teaching in Bath, Swindon and Plymouth.
Victoria has been dancing her whole life, exploring styles like Contemporary, Ice-skating, World dance, Argentine tango, African dancing, Salsa, Bachata and Brazilian Zouk. However, Bachata quickly became her greatest passion, and she has been teaching it since 2021.
As a pianist, she naturally incorporates musicality into her teaching and is very passionate about helping followers develop their ladies' styling. She continuously learns from the world's best Bachata instructors, both online and in person, and is dedicated to sharing her knowledge, nurturing and inspiring her students to grow and fully enjoy their dance journey.
Laura is a teacher in training. A passionate bachata and salsa dancer, she has been dancing since 2022. She has already taught at Bristol Bachata and continues to grow her skills by learning from top international instructors.
With a lifelong background in music—having sung since childhood and played the clarinet—Laura brings a strong sense of rhythm and musicality to her dancing.
